OGP appoints Panos Angelopoulos as President of Global Sales

Optical Gaging Products (OGP®), a division of optical and multi-sensor metrology system manufacturer Quality Vision International Inc (QVI®),  has appointed Panos Angelopoulos as President of Global Sales, succeeding R. Stephen Flynn, who is retiring after 31 years with the company.

Panos brings to OGP over three decades of experience in executive leadership roles within industrial and commercial manufacturing environments. Throughout his career, he has held sales and marketing positions that contributed to market expansion and revenue growth on a continuous basis.

Panos joins OGP from RAMPF Group, headquartered in Grafenberg, Germany, where he served as Business Unit Manager. He was previously the President, CEO and owner of Cleveland Polymer Technologies, which joined RAMPF Group in 2017. Panos holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in management and finance, both from the New York Institute of Technology.

Panos begins his tenure with OGP at a pivotal time in the company’s 80-year history, as OGP’s tradition of technological advancements continues with the next evolution of its SmartScope 3D multi-sensor dimensional measuring system. The SmartScope M-series features the patented IntelliCentric-M optical system, delivering what the company describes as unparalleled accuracy and repeatability.
