OGP names Panos Angelopoulos as President of Global Sales

Optical Gaging Products (OGP), a manufacturer of multi-sensor metrology systems for industrial quality control and a division of Quality Vision International (QVI), has appointed Panos Angelopoulos as President of Global Sales. He succeeds R. Stephen Flynn, who is retiring after 31 years with the company.

Panos brings to OGP over three decades of experience in executive leadership roles within industrial and commercial manufacturing environments. Throughout his career, he’s held sales and marketing positions that have continually contributed to market expansion and revenue growth.

Joining OGP from RAMPF Group, headquartered in Grafenberg, Germany, Panos served as Business Unit Manager. Before that, he was President, CEO and owner of Cleveland Polymer Technologies, which joined the RAMPF Group in 2017. Panos holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in management and finance, both from the New York Institute of Technology.

Keith Polidor, the company’s third-generation President and Chief Executive Officer, says: “Having Panos join as OGP President of Global Sales ensures that we’ll continue to grow and innovate optical and multi-sensor solutions to meet the world’s precision measurement needs. Under his leadership, OGP will remain steadfast in delivering leading innovation and service, driven by the dedication of our employees and the support of our partners.”

Panos begins his tenure at a pivotal time in the company’s 80-year history, as OGP’s tradition of technological advancements continues with its next evolution of SmartScope. The SmartScope M-Series features the patented IntelliCentric-M optical system.
